Our Story
About Pulcher Publishing
The Vision
A Publishing House Born from Purpose
Pulcher Publishing was born from a profound belief: that sophisticated women deserve content as refined, intelligent, and beautiful as they are. In a world saturated with noise, we chose elegance. In a culture that rushes, we chose depth.
We publish books, journals, and wellness content that speak to the woman who has lived, who has overcome, and who is ready to step into her most luminous chapter — with grace, wisdom, and unapologetic beauty.
The name "Pulcher" is Latin for beautiful — because we believe beauty is not merely aesthetic. It is a way of being. A commitment to flourishing from the inside out.
"Beauty is not a destination. It is a daily practice of honoring who you are and who you are becoming."
— Chaundra P. LaFleur
The Founder
Chaundra P. LaFleur
Chaundra P. LaFleur is an author, publisher, and passionate advocate for women's flourishing. Her journey — marked by resilience, reinvention, and an unwavering commitment to beauty in all its forms — is the heartbeat of Pulcher Publishing.
Having navigated her own seasons of hardship and transformation, Chaundra writes and publishes with the intimate understanding of what it means to rebuild, to heal, and to emerge more radiant than before. Her work is not motivational — it is transformational.
She believes that sophisticated women over 40 are not in decline — they are in their most powerful ascent. Pulcher Publishing exists to honor, support, and celebrate that ascent with the elegance it deserves.
